AHDF is a non-governmental organisation with the aim to preserve, impart and develop architectural heritage and related knowledge. Numerous examples of decay and destruction of built heritage can be found all over the world. Despite their role as witnesses of history and specimens of our collective memory, valuable architectures are often threatened by human behaviour, environmental factors or simply the lack of appropriate skills and knowledge. Currently the core-project aims to sensibilise children to architecture. In 2015 we conducted special workshops in collaboration with Kinderuni Wien and Open House Wien.
